The ASFPM Foundation has selected the 2025-2027 Future Leaders Scholarship Recipient! 

Congratulations, Audrey Nelson! 

 The ASFPM Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2025-2027 Future Leaders Scholarship Recipient is Audrey Nelson. Audrey is an environmental science student at Florida Gulf Coast University.

ASFPM FOUNDATION ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

ASFPM Foundation hosts a number of activities and events for the purpose of considering current flood policy and future flood risk issues at the national and state level. These events include the Gilbert F. White Flood Policy Forums, Larry A. Larson Speaker Series and State Symposia. The ASFPM Foundation supports our partners at ASFPM through project funding. A number of reports and publications are available here, and also visit the ASFPM Flood Science Center. Other foundation accomplishments include the development of the national Certified Floodplain Manager program, and the No Adverse Impact initiative.

The ASFPM Foundation proudly supports the education of current and future flood risk management professionals. Current college scholarship opportunities include the ASFPM Foundation Future Leaders Scholarship and the annual ASFPM Student Paper Competition. Activities, events and scholarships are made possible due to the support of ASFPM Foundation donors.
